NNHS Library Learning Commons

In the new building, we are re-inventing the library as a student-centered, vibrant open-studio environment.

In 2010 we all have a singular opportunity to establish the
Opening Day Collection of the Library Learning Commons.

The Learning Commons is:

  • A people-centered space with easy access.
  • A center for learning and collaboration with varied, flexible study and teaching spaces.
  • A place to use state-of-the-art technology for research and coursework.
  • “Communication central”, a student showcase, and a campus cultural center.
  • An outstanding source of relevant and up-to-date print and electronic materials (and yes e-books as we evaluate the technology.)
